President Bouchard Mudry Spearheads 25 Sigourney Move

The work that was begun thirteen years ago by A&R Vice-President (formerly President) Mike Winkler, and A&R Retiree President Joella Bouchard Mudry and Anna Crawford (A&R retiree) among others, has finally come to fruition.

Finally, it is confirmed that Sigourney Street tenants will be moved to another building. A&R President Mandour has established two committees of 25 Sigourney employees, one to make sure that the current building is not neglected before the move, and another committee to work with the Governor's administration to make sure the new space is safe and that the problems of 25 Sigourney Street aren't carried to the new building. President Mandour has established a relationship with DAS, which welcomes participation from our  union in planning the new space.

Governor Malloy has said the first workers are expected to be in their new quarters by this time next year. State officials expect that the workers at 25 Sigourney will be relocated to 55 Farmington." Link to the Hartford Courant on-line article.
