With the help of AFT, and in close coordination with our bargaining team, OFT members formed the contract action team (CAT) to take escalating actions to pressure DODEA to do the right thing.
This was a huge team effort! Our coordinated contract campaign and the tenacity of our membership completely changed what was possible at the negotiation table.
While we are so excited and want to be in celebration mode over reaching a tentative agreement (TA) we know your work and ours continue. As a member of our Union, one of the most important and privileged roles you have is to vote to ratify the Collective Bargaining Agreement between OFT and DODEA.
On November 16th, 2022, you will receive an email sent to your non-DODEA email address on file with OFT. This email will contain a link to your ballot for contract ratification. Every member gets one vote. You must cast your vote on or before Sunday, November 27th, 2022, for your vote to count!!
